Securikett Introduces Highly Transparent Paper-Based Security Seals

New tamper-evident solutions combine sustainability with design flexibility for packaging across industries

Münchendorf, June 2026

Securikett announces the latest addition to its IT’S PAPER series: highly transparent paper-based security seals designed to deliver effective product protection without compromising packaging aesthetics. The new seals are available with either a fiber tear effect or VOID technology, offering flexible security options tailored to different application requirements

Until now, Securikett’s paper-based security labels were limited to opaque and translucent variants. With this innovation, the company introduces highly transparent paper seals for the first time, further expanding its sustainable product range.

The seals can be applied to folding cartons made of paper or cardboard, while ensuring that underlying text and design elements remain clearly visible. This enables brand owners to integrate tamper-evident features without the need to redesign existing packaging – an important advantage, particularly for regulated industries and established product lines.

“With our new highly transparent security seals, we have reached another milestone in the development of our IT’S PAPER series,” says Vanessa Mitterer-Kling, Head of R&D at Securikett.

The labels are suitable for a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, where secure sealing and regulatory compliance are critical. They also offer a sustainable alternative to conventional plastic closure seals in various other applications.

With this latest innovation, Securikett continues to advance environmentally responsible security solutions while maintaining high performance and adaptability across diverse packaging requirements.
