The design of the paper-based packaging was developed by Ulrich Etiketten and impressed the international jury with its clear design, high functionality, and consistent focus on sustainability.
The paper-based packaging with a multi-aperture viewing panel offers clear advantages throughout the entire value chain. Its high-quality paper appearance creates an appealing and environmentally friendly impression for consumers. At the same time, it completely eliminates the need for additional plastic components such as plastic nets or cellophane.
The concept also sets new standards from a technical perspective: the adhesive used does not require neutralization but is applied in a targeted manner exclusively where it is functionally necessary. This innovation is enabled by proprietary adhesive coating technology developed at Securikett, Ulrich’s sister company and a specialist in high-security labels and advanced applications. As a result, adhesive consumption is minimized, making a further contribution to a resource-efficient and sustainable packaging solution.
