The "Tape on Liner" introduces a specially designed security tape for tamper-evident sealing of paper and plastic bags. This solution combines clear tamper indication with a user-friendly application process.
Münchendorf, March 2026
The product consists of a security tape applied to a split liner material. This two-part liner construction allows the tape to be applied to the shipping bag while the second half of the liner protects the underlying adhesive surface until the bag is finally sealed.
The product is particularly suitable for shipping sensitive or valuable contents, including documents, pharmaceutical shipments, jewelry samples, or confidential materials. It is also intended for specialized bags such as cash-in-transit or duty-free bags.
In the event of tampering, the security tape produces a clearly visible opening effect. Any attempt to remove the tape generates an irreversible indicator, clearly documenting that the bag has been opened. Unauthorized access to the contents is therefore fully prevented.

Underlying text, barcodes, or codes remain readable
Thanks to its translucent design, underlying texts, symbols, or codes remain readable. The tape is available for both plastic and paper surfaces and has been tested on a variety of paper and plastic bags.
“With Tape on Liner, we provide a solution where any tampering attempts are immediately detectable. Especially when shipping sensitive transport bags, transparency regarding the integrity of the shipment is a key factor,” explains Vanessa Mitterer-Kling, Head of the Research Department.
